In November 2021, USM Healthcare Company held a signing ceremony of strategic investment cooperation agreement with Eastbridge Partners - Korea with an investment capital of 30 million USD. This is recorded to be a crucial turning point in USM Healthcare's international integration which helps to expand and strengthen company’s research and production capabilities to meet domestic and foreign market.
EastBridge Partners is a Joint stock company, headquartered in Seoul, Korea targeting on mid-market growth capital investment opportunities mainly in Korea and in Pan-Asia Region. The enteprise mostly focusing on investing in the consumer goods & services, technology, industrial and medicl equipment.
In Vietnam's medical equipment market still largely dependent on imported products, USM Healthcare wish and object to provide lower to middle-income patients with high quality yet affordable medical devices. Thus, Ms. Vo Xuan Boi Lam, USM Healthcare founder states that “We see East Bridge Partners as a partner who could help us achieve these objectives and support overseas expansion with their resources and networks in Korea, Southeast Asia, Middle East.”

Meanwhile, EastBridge Partners expressed confidence in USM Healthcare’s exclusive position as the only coronary stent manufacturer in Vietnam as well as its strong research and development capabilities. “There is potential for the USM Healthcare to grow into the leading innovative medical device enterprise in Vietnam,” shared Mark Kim, Chief Investment Officer at EastBridge Partners.
The signing ceremony between USM Healthcare Factory and EastBridge Partners is marked as a new milestone in the development and the future success of the two businesses, promising to promote Vietnam's medical equipment manufacturing industry to a higher level.
