Overview of USM HEALTHCARE Medical Equipment Factory Joint Stock Company

The subject engages in manufacturing cardiovascular medical supplies such as PTCA balloon catheter, coronary stent system, and PTCA accessories. At present, there are 50/70 cardiovascular hospitals using the subject’s products in domestic market. In the future, the company orientates to export products more to foreign markets.Based on investigation, the subject took 5 years to complete technology, clinical trials and apply for a marketing license in Vietnam. By 2016, the company obtained marketing authorization for the stent product. A process of angioplasty balloon and drug-eluting stent technology with nanotechnology has been researched and implemented since 2013. This is key project under the National Development Program to 2020 by the Ministry of Science and Technology and related ministries.
